The Board of Deerfield Township Trustees met for a work session on Monday, August 28, 2023, at 5:00pm, with Trustees Ed Dean, Tiffany Havens and Mark Bann present. Also present was Chief Scott Dean and Assistant Chief Derek Day. Chairman Dean waived the Pledge of Allegiance until the regularly scheduled meeting at 6pm.
Fire Department:
The work session was held for the purpose of discussing the draft policies and procedures pending approval and submission for the Deerfield Fire Department SAFER Grant. Draft updates written into the policies were discussed that changed from previously written policies. The Trustees, Chief and Assistant Chief agreed to finalize all the changes into a final rough draft and turn into the fiscal office one week prior to the meeting to be held September 11, 2023.
Ed made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Tiffany seconded the motion and the roll call vote was unanimous.
Meeting adjourned at 6:05pm.
